Boston Celtic Preseason Game at DCU Center
Worcester has scored the "Big Ticket" as the Boston Celtics return to the DCU Center when they host the New Jersey Nets in an NBA pre-season game Friday, October 19 with tip-off at 7:30PM. The Celtics recently acquired perennial all-star Kevin Garnett from Minnesota, after dealing for seven-time all-star Ray Allen on the day of the NBA draft. They will join Paul Pierce to make a formidable threesome in the NBA's Eastern Conference.
The Nets are led by Jason Kidd and Vince Carter who were eliminated in the conference finals by the Cleveland Cavaliers in last year's playoffs.
Tickets available beginning Tuesday - Sept. 4 at 10AM.
